The interesting bit is that the parts manual says the vents came in at truck number 2521. But of course the parts book could very easily be wrong; wouldn't be the first time!
As I understand it, the 9189 in the chassis number stands for the 9189th Chevrolet built in 1940, not the 9189th C15. So the serial number of the C15 could well be lower than 2521.

Can anyone confirm/add/correct this?
