Why not try a troll through Library and Archives Canada (LAC) and their "Faces of War" database. Searching "Sherman" and "Garry Horse" yields some results that may help you. Not sure why it didn't work for you. "Sherman" brings up 4 pages of photos.  There is the Regimental Museum and Archive: http://fortgarryhorse.ca/wp/museum-and-archives/ with some contact info. Gord Crossley is very knowledgeable and may be able to assist you. regards Darrell
