Default more painting

Hi Keith,
First stage of painting the outside complete. Starting to see the end result but lots of little jobs left. Still no sign of my leather bench seats.

Fantastic. Did you hand brush the disruptive colour ( Light Stone ) ?

BTW the RAAF used at least one those vehicles in PNG as seen in one of the AWM films .

Default Fantastic

Great job Wayne,

Very special, Australian designed type saved as well.

Where did you source the camo pattern? (This is not a loaded question)

Just interested... that's all

Thanks for the kind words guys

The disruptive colour was matched from a sample off the doors. I don't know the name but it is a perfect match from the factory. First seeing it in the paint can was a eyebrow raising moment but now on the truck with the green I think it looks just fine.

I did cheat Mike and sprayed it on, masked it then sprayed, very even coat, maybe too even...

The pattern comes from chalk marks I did from my original vehicle, Rod D's roof section and old photos. My lines matched up very close to one original photo I had so I filled in the missing lines on the rear roof section from the available Ford photos.

Hi Hanno, very rare vehicle to have survived, there are a couple of others around in bits or part there of
Never know what some people have hidden away in sheds.

Default seats

The seats were finished this week and have been fitted.
Dark brown leather with brass eyelets, upholster did very well
from the few available photos.
Now need to get the leather strap supports made.

Odd thing is now the truck has that "new car smell".

Black and white is the Ford, colour is my Chev with pleated seats.
