Yes - it is better than not having the part. The previous owner put in a hybrid mismatch of different systems from different manufacturers that had failed to work before I bought the vehicle. Going back to the original manufacturer's part will hopefully get the engine started as quickly and simply as it was designed to do. One parts supplier actually wrote back and apologised for listing parts that were no longer available. They let me know that they have now updated their parts list and removed those listings. Just hope the part works and solves the starting issue! Fingers crossed. Kind regards Lionel
