In pretty good shape for it’s age. I should be so lucky!

What do the data plates have to say?

Great start! Looks nice and straight and been looked after - love the pin-striping. Looks like many of the external parts have been removed rather than torn off through use, too - a real bonus.

Lots of things you will need in addition to your list (ie horn, pintle hook, hood bow, wipers, dash lamps, etc), so if you run out of NOS/original options, try Joe's Motor Pool - excellent quality repro parts, or MV Spares. There are other sources, of course, but you'll find many of them stock parts from either of these two sources.

Join the MVPA (if you are not already), crack open the latest edition of Supply Line and you could order up everything from the vendors in a couple phone calls and emails. Nice looking GPW and look forward to seeing its progress back to fighting trim.

Default Gpw items

I will look to see what Jim has in his collection to see what has Ford on it. I know he has most of the ww2 jeep items you are looking for.

Don't think the Gpw rims had f, were generic combat rims

Will take a look.

My email is cmpmagazine at hotmail.com
