Another photo from the 27 CIB in Hanover. This one, sadly, for the funeral of Lt RH Sandilands, RCEME, killed in a automobile accident. Note the highly polished truck, caisson and gun, including the tires. Also note that the truck, in use by the Canadian Army operating a country that drives on the right side of the road, has right-hand drive.

Interesting that they are using a CMP LAAT as the gun tractor rather than the traditional FAT. I think the LAAT makes for a much roomier and more useful towing vehicle.

First row: jeep, CMP 15-cwt and Dodge WC 3/4-ton trucks.

Second row: CMP 3-ton trucks with 20-cwt trailers.
