I have only ever seen black jacks and green starting handles as originally supplied. They tended to get tarted up from time to time and then anything is possible. Also some of the larger (5ton+) jacks were grey from new and others quite a bright green. The 35ton jacks all seem to be DBG. Pick heads were black as was the metal part of the handle. Certainly some shovels were black with natural wood handles but I have also seen them apparently green all over from new.
