I just noticed the other photos are up side down and I have no idea why and don't know how to change them.

If you're interested colin, i know some folk (as does Jack neville) who are very experienced in making gas fire simulators, who i'm sure would be able to make your machine guns sound and look very convincing, if you're interested that is...

cheers

Chris

Hi Chris, already in the pipeline. I will make the replica guns and one of the RSA club members that comes out here will do the gas part. I'm sure you guys would know Brendon. Thanks for the offer.
Colin.

Yes, I've even been to a Mt Crawford a few years back, a great group of people. Pleased you have it well in hand, would seem a shame not to be able to make appropriate noises!

Thank you Tim.
Chris, you are right, after this much work it just has to have some bangs as well
I have been quite busy making the smoke launcher brackets and I need some details of the launcher itself if anyone has one.

I wasn't going to put the turret on the tank yet but I needed to verify some clearances. I would surely love to know the last time this tank had a turret sitting on top. It would probably be over half a century ago.

Hi Colin,
I had to visit the Tank Museum this week and spotting the Vickers MkVIB I took the attached photo which may help you a little way, when making the smoke launchers.

regards,
Richard

I have made those dischargers in the past and have drawings if needed.

Thankyou James, Thank you Richard for the photo and Adrian the drawings would be a great help. While I am on the turrets I think it would be a good time to make them as well.

I have been doing lots of small unseen jobs to the turrets and bolting the ball races to the top of the hulls.

No sooner you start a job in the morning the days gone Some days you just don't appear to achieve much for the hours put in.
