Jesse

I never had a demill cert for the 75mm Pack Howitzer I exported from the USA a few years ago.

However I did have to get an ITAR licence to export it.

For shipping and import into the UK, I had to treat it as a Section 1 firearm (live barrel, though with no breech considered demilled in the USA, whereas it was not considered demilled in the UK).

You may find it easier to pay a specialist vehicle shipper than go through the hassle yourself... especially if in Italy the US Demilling is not considered sufficient... you would not want to have it refused entry in Italy and shipped back to the USA at your cost.

There are a few companies advertising their services on Milweb, though I personally have no experience with any of them.

Tim
