Thank you dear Friends !!

This morning I found a serial number on frame, right hand side, near springs mount, above rear tyre.

I saw 149 587.

Mid 1943 ??

Hello Vincent,

Check http://www.canadian-register.co.uk/database.html for a listing of surviving Ford CMPs to compare the Chassis No's.

Hope this helps,
Hanno

Based on the data available, chassis no. 149 587 fits in between:

Model / Year / Chassis No.
F15A / Feb 19 - 1943 / 117810
F15A / Aug-43 / 151801

So July/Aug 1943 is a good estimate.

Could you please take a picture of where you found the number? It's a new location to me.

Thanks,
Hanno

Photo attached of a ford instrument panel that shows shadow outlines of data plates so at least one Ford seems to have had the data plates on the panel.
