I agree Euan . I worked out to late how to do it !! It would be nice to look back at what I did .. and good reference for others .

Can some one tell me the thread size and type for the RAD water drain hole under and just behind the water pumps on a flat head . I have a plug in my engine , as I'm going to drain to replace my temp sender so thought i would put a tap in at the same time . Dale

Default Drain plug Size

I think it will be 1/4" NPT, as they are American spec, I might have to double check tomorrow for you, Cheers Andrew.
