Identification of Gen-set needed

I have a Canadian example, given to me many years ago by a friend of my father who had it on his boat. He couldn't get it to start so threw it out as a lost cause. He had a good spark so cleaned the carb , making a new flange gasket when refitting it.

Having forgotten to cut the centre hole in the gasket, he was certainly making it hard for himself......
