The term M38A1CDN1 is also not accurate. They had no idea there would be a 2 or a 3 some 15 years later. The first family of M38A1 CDN were assembled in Canada by Ford. Any CFTOs that I have that discuss all 3 merely refer to the first batch as M38A1CDN.

With regard to the Cdn3, think I saw some of the last ones with AMG logo on the serial plate behind the seat, but it was so many years ago now that I can't be sure of that. Most were marked with Jeep corporation from Toledo.
