Now I understand... Apologies I was in Bofors mode!!
As you say you will need to modify it to fit and function... I am glad that you got it stripped down... Send me a photo when you finish the conversion..!! The breech will fire off when closed, I am sure it can be modifed to not fire. You could also message that chap on the film you shared here and ask him how he holds back the pin..
