Zdenek,

Welcome to MLU and congratulations on buying that F15A! I recall seeing it for sale onMilWeb, and am happy to see it found a home at a MLU member.

Re. colours, not sure about the primer used during WW2. One option was that the chassis and drive train were painted black, then sprayed in a topcoat as per army contracts. By the time your type of truck was built, the standard colour was Khaki Green No. 3. Read more details in Mike Starmers article or buy his books. Aura Design in the Czech republic sells correctly mixed paints, see http://www.auradesign.eu/camo_p_br.htm

Hope this helps,
Hanno

Hello

Nice little truck!

On my FAT , the chassis also had a black primer, but for the other parts it apears to be grey, other member could maybe confirm.

Is the water gutter on the hood common , mine have it also and i thing it's a upgrade?

Cheers
Sylvain

Hello,
thanks for all comments.
I think that the water gutter on the hood is common factory production.

I still don't know anything about original wiring in engine compartment (placing and connection). If somebody has any picture or info I will be very grateful.
Recently I managed to buy new early dash. Do you think that the data plate is on the correct position (see the pictures)?

Zdenek

Niels, thanks for the photos.

Harlé, I disassembled the cabin and the water gutter on the hood and I must agree with you that it's homemade, not a common factory production.

Does anybody have some more pictures of Cab 12?
Do you think that Cab 11 and Cab 12 have the same placing and clamping of wiring? Do you know where the fuse-box should be placed? I have to do all new wiring now so that I could drive out this spring and I still have very few information therefore I appreciate any picture or note.

Thanks, Zdenek
