Well, it's not perfect, but since I don't see where or even how I can find a real one...
So I decided to make my own license plate. Eric

Don't worry and don't be sorry! I've been busy myself and it's not like it keeps the klr from running.
I made a hitch carrier (goodbye trailer) and a fake license plate. I actually almost went to the Odessa meeting...Maybe next time. You can actually simply let me see a picture of the correct b.o. drive and I can make a copy. I made my license plate from a piece of sheet aluminum i machined.

Just a comment on the bike carrier.
Locally, we have seen both municipal and provincial police enforcing lighting and licence plate regulations in relation to carriers. I wholeheartedly support such enforcement actions. Some have been given warnings, usually in daytime and I saw one getting towed at night. There is a way around which is to use a trailer plug as a break out for a whip to power a light board along the back of the carrier. It would be a tow minute job to move the rear licence plate there as well. Do things at your own risk but be aware of what you are doing is all I say. My opinions are my own

Over the winter I purchased what I understand to be an ex CF flight crew helmet bag to protect my bike helmet.
It will allow me to leave my while helmet with the bike while on display as I can discreetly zip tie the handle of the bike to the bike and not detract from the bike and relieve me of having to Canada it around or stash it with others. Also when I am riding it will go in the pannier nicely
