My old seat belts were mismatched, sun-bleached and probably not serviceable any longer. Its unlikely they would pass any type of inspection, so I decided to replace them. I finally decided on a set from an online vendor: www.seatbeltplanet.com
This is the closest model I could find to the ones originally used in the jeep. Although, I have seen many different styles of belts & buckles used in these jeeps (I don't think there was any "one" standard model). Here are some photos of my new ones. So far I am pleased with these replacements. I know others have been discussing seat belts to replace their old ones. Let me know if you have any specific questions about these ones.
