I'm planning on taking the next few days off to get some painting done.
For all of the body parts, I have used an epoxy primer. I really like it, vs red oxide. I wanted to put down a super durable base coat to protect everything for many years. So my base coat of paint on everything is a high quality epoxy paint that is closely matched to the semigloss OD (but it's a bit more glossy). All inner surfaces of the body and engine compartment will then get an over coat of the proper semigloss OD (from BCA) as a finish color. The exterior of the jeep will be finished in the three color camouflage pattern from the 70's & 80's (I'll post the details of the paint used for that later).
