M100 was the original MCI made 1/4 ton trailer. They had an ERN of 30810, so any manuals would have been numbered in that range once we went to the NDID system of manuals.
When they were due to be replaced in the early 90s, someone in Ottawa designated the new DEW engineering 1/4 ton trailers the M101CDN2, and they stuck with that number. I mentioned it to an LCMM and he said it wasn't going to be an issue since the M101 family of trailers were being replaced soon, and sure enough a decade later they were. The M101CDN2 were in the 30825 series of manuals, as I mentioned before. |
