Default wiering diagram

Hi
I am part of the team that works on this Bren Carrier MK2, we are looking for wiring diagram and parts assembly.
Do any of you know about a supplier or a person who sells or would like to donate a copy of a book with all info to our museum?

I have seen a copy of a thick book of the universal bren carrier MK2 (but not for sale :-( .

Regards
Israel

I believe your universal carrier is actually a Canadian manufactured MK-I*, converted to MK-II standard in the U.K. using the U.K. supplied conversion package. As such, there are minor differences in the wiring. For example, the MK-I* had different lighting systems, different starter, battery location and cable hook-up changed, no fuel tanks gauge or sending units with capacitors.

Please consider posting a picture of your dash panel. I suspect it is a MK-I* with push button engine starter, Canadian instrument switch MK-I*, upgraded electronic oil pressure sending unit, no fuel gauge.

See here for the Canadian and British wiring diagrams of the MK-II* and MK-II carriers :

A MK-I, likely a Canadian produced MK-I* for a British contract, converted using MK-II upgrade parts. Note the mantlet is British, the rear compartment firing rests do not converge. The spare bogie wheel mounting assembly is from the upgrade to Welsh Guard Stowage standard.

The hull displays MK-I* features:
1) front compartment oval shape drain opening
2) MK-I wiring conduit through divisional wall to engine
3) MK-I lower engine rails
4) MK-I upper rear protection plate wireless battery box cable access holes (x2)
5) lower hull rear plate engine openings, two rectangular holes either side of the differential
