Wayne what are you going to use to replace the asbestos? I need something similar to replace asbestos on my Wiles cookers.

Default asbestos

Hi Jack,
I have used Blue Board in the past, coated in white heat proof paint.
This is James Hardie's attempt at forgiveness by producing a cellulose fibre cement based replacement to asbestos.
This board is too hard for me as the original asbestos mat bent to shape along the rhs of the engine cover.
I am still looking for something closer to the original and am trying some fire flue companies and racing heat shield products.

Blue Board is readily available at Bunnings and other hardware stockist.

I also need something flexible to line the inside of the boiler cover.

Jack inside the boiler cover, if it can't be seen and can't escape a heater blanket may work for you. We have one around the inbuilt heater to stop the heat going up the old chimney.

Default Wayne's Wonder Bus

Whilst waiting on several bits for my project, found some time today to make these small items for 'Wayne's Wonder Bus.'

These are replacement windscreen latch studs, Wayne will need to fit them to his new screen frames and cut them to length.

Default been a while

Back working on to the Chev after several other things/events have transpired.
Managed to find a good battery box to replace the incomplete one on the truck.
Shame to paint the steering wheel as they do look good all oiled up.
