I have seen two types of CMP truck trouble lamps over the years. Both look similar to a standard shop trouble light, with a single pin candelabra plug at the end of the cord.

I see had the wooden handles ones, but I have also had the ones which were simply a commercial 110V rubber handles trouble lamp (as shown in the photo Jaques has shown) with an adapter in the standard 110V light screw socket to convert it to the 6 volt automotive bulb.
