From what I have seen, the dealers in the US are loathe to send anything out of the country. A friend even had them refuse to sell him an antenna tiedown. The fact is that all the radio stuff (and weapons stuff, and even military vehicle parts for that matter) is generally controlled for export from the US, and while 99 times out of a hundred, nothing will come of it, but when it does, the fines will bankrupt a smaller company and hurt the larger ones.
As for David's suggestion that the radio draws people to your vehicle display, personally I prefer the trifecta: a good clean military vehicle, the appropriate weapons (demilled of course for public display) and the comms gear. Between those 3 items you will interest a wide segment of the population. And if I don't have the radios, then at least having the antenna on the AMU gives the vehicle another dimension.
