Precisely why I sold mine... Lots of interested parties always wanted to me bring it out to events but were shy to help out on the transportation costs. It usually cost me $2-300 anytime I wanted to take it somewhere and a bunch more to pay for fuel if it was to operated there. Halftracks are thirsty.
Nice halftrack for someone that has it on their "must have" list.

It is on my list...
I wouldn't mind having one but I would like to get one with some work left to do to it (and for a lot less money)
I remember one of the guys on here had one for sale a few years ago, he was asking 30 or 35k and I also decided it was too hard to move. So went with a ferret instead. Don't regret it at all.
