I have 2 types of ALEMITE grease guns. Models 5585 and 6556. I think the model 6556 one would be correct for my tool kit. What is the other model grease gun with the solid handle used with?

You are far more meticulous than me!

As to the tire pressure gauges, the bottom two with the loose collar and ring as familiar to me from the Canadian army in the 1970s. Tools don't wear out riding around in a tool bag, checking tire pressure once or twice a week, but only in active training seasons. The rest of their lives are spent quietly staying warm and dry inside a locker or a tool box.

A couple pair of pliers. I like the UTICA TOOLS pliers as they are nicely marked but can anyone tell me if they would be correct era for WWII? The other set I am not sure what brand they are, just a makers stamp and MADE IN U.S.A.

I have 4 of the open end wrenches collected so far. None of them are matching but once I have all of them,I can continue to look for matching brands. I still need to find a #28D.

The 2 auto adjusting wrenches I have are a Billings 9'' and the other one only has an H stamped in it and is 11'' long. Although the 9'' BILLINGS wrench is nicely marked, I see in the parts manual it calls for an 11'' wrench so does anybody know what brand the H stands for?

This summer I was lucky enough to find an IRWIN screwdriver.
I picked up an EAGLE oil can at the MVPA convention but seems sloppy in the oil can holder on the firewall of the jeep. It may not be the proper one or my reproduction oil can holder may be out? Anybody know the proper base measurement of jeep oil can so I can compare to mine?
I also found a ball peen hammer this summer at our favorite army surplus store. No makers mark on it. Was there a certain hammer brand issued with the WWII jeep?
