Now would be a good time to see if someone can even come up with a picture of a Canadian M38A1 with a pedestal mount gun.
There should be lots of people on here that would have first hand experience to say for sure. I don't recall ever seeing one and most commonly seen in the UN pictures was the side mount "Z" arm. Might as well build one of them if that is the correct way to carry the gun.
