D-Day Dodgers
Hi there
The term is usually attributed to British MP Lady Nancy Astor. The story goes she was concerned about the British army having enough men to fufill it's obligations for the 2nd Front and wondered why there was a shortage of trained troops in the UK when all those 'D-Day Dodgers' were laying about in Italy. This is the story I heard. Steve
