Hello John, I ended up having the clutch plate relined and reconditioned have had no problems with it so far. I had sourced a forklift clutch plate which fitted but struck the pressure plate when disengaged. Yes, I have had canvas gaitors manufactured by my local canvas bloke they have a wet suit zipper in then so they can be replaced in-situ. I also have 3 x NOS rubber gaitors which I sourced for ours, however, after battling with the drive stations I believe the only way to tackle them and keep your sanity is to fit the gaitors after reassembly. One draw back with the canvas is that it does not hold oil if you have any leaks they allow the oil to seep through the canvas. Easy to fit though with no disassembly of drive train required, I have them down to about 20 min fitting time.
