Default Furphy

Yes Furphy ..... the device on the trailer is a hand pump . He told me its a original ex RAAF Furphy trailer which is also a rare survivor .

I found this film of a 1940 ute in Egypt with a cable laying device ..doors removed for air flow. This ute has the same GMH bodywork. The body has a wooden frame and they were fragile to begin with .

And a YMCA ute

At the end of this film a YMCA ute is seen , a 1941 model .
