Thank you Rob, That fills a few gaps. I recall a few flat roofed ones being posted. Argentina, and Mr K. Webb come to mind.

Thanks Rob, also very helpful...now I understand why the locals in Manitoba wanted to convene a war crimes tribunal when allegations of you aiding and abetting the smuggling of rear FAT cargo body to the nether regions of Alberta surfaced!
But seriously I am really getting into these things, they are very cool, my pal will end up with whatever one I don't want! The price of being computer illiterate in 21 century I suppose. |

My first CMP was a 12cab Ford. At 6'3" and a large frame, it was difficult but not impossible.
I could never drive with size 12 boots on. I was relegated to running shoes or even bare feet in the summer. I also found that I needed to rid myself of the original, somewhat soft seat, instead opting for nothing more than about an inch of padding with a cover on it. Anything thicker and I could not get my knee high enough to clutch without hitting the steering wheel. ![]()

I am 6'1" luckily I have narrow feet so pedal space is not much of a problem for me in both ford or Chevrolet cab 11/12. The Cgt has much more leg space side ways than the regular cab 11/12 because the cab doesn't have the doors next to you. The seat is also a bit higher and can come further back. I would highly recommend a CGT/FGT cab 11/12

I would possibly recommend a 11/12 GT over a cargo if it were not for the obstacle course required to get into it. But I would certainly prefer a cab13 over all others.
As a new owner of 25 pdrs, I guess a tractor will be on my necessity list now. |
