I passed up a refinished Johnson with a pitted bore for over two bills a few years ago. It would fit the collection, but not that quality for that price. I don't think any Johnsons have acceptable bores.

Randal Murray at http://murraysgunstocks.com is the guy who will be producing stocks for 1941 Johnsons. He emailed me yesterday that he will be doing these around the turn of the year. If you want a set, email him and he will let you know when he has timing and pricing.
