Hi
My mistake. I, a non-crochet-er, have been informed by a higher power than me that they are not wool but rather acrylic. Definitely not Tibetan yak wool or any of the sort. Still hand made though!!! These scarves are delicate wash and lay flat to dry. regards Darrell
