Jack,

It was a standard fitting ,there are some guns in Oz with the brackets fitted .
I'm sure Scrivo's portee gun has them fitted and also Robs in Cairns to name a few although some brackets were fitted up side down underneath the frame .Lots of preserved Guns also have them missing completely.
