A couple of evenings ago we were treated to this spectacular display in the sky. They look rather organic in shape, and indeed this formation is called Mammata for rather obvious reasons.

..."breast like underhangings" is the desription we in the weather business use...one of my favorite clouds for some reason. Also look for crepuscular rays...spectacular.
