Took advantage of the nice warm and slightly humid weather the other day and got my floor all painted in POR15 and the tie coat primer. Yesterday morning when i got home from nights, I painted on the KG#3.
One thing I realized that I shoudl have done when building the new floor was to bolt down the main supports to the chassis frame and then tack welded on the floor. What I found was that by not doing this a couple of the bolt holes were out a bit and wouldn't line up with the holes on the frame. Thankfully it was nothing that a slightly oversized drill bit couldn't fix. Live and learn for the next one. ![]() I anticipate by this afternoon I will have the trailer fully rebuilt.

Rob, when I actually sat down to wire it up it all clicked in my head. The wires for the two tail lights go direct to one side terminal of the switch. The convoy light goes direct to the other side terminal of the switch. Power in from the towing vehicle goes to the middle common terminal. A wire also goes from the middle terminal to the TL screw on the trailer socket. The black brake light wire goes direct to the BL screw on the socket. The single brake light on the trailer wires up to the BL screw.
Yes Barry the trailer will be at Aquino. I have something for you as well for your trailer.

Jordan, well done.
I am looking forward to Aquino on Saturday and seeing your trailer's 1st public showing.I hope someday (next year?) you and Barry will both have your trailers at the same event. It would make a great photo to have them in tandem behind an MB or 15 cwt. Brian

I just realized i had not yet out up some pictures of the almost completed trailer. I still need to finish making a tarp and figuring out the tarp retaining straps mounted to the front panel.

The latest piece I just finished is the British T plate that was often seen on the rear of trailers. Since I've been unable to locate an original I figured why not make one.
