Instruction plate
Guys,
With the information provided by Rick Cove and the aid of some sketches from the operators manual I had enough information to take to my local engraver and have a new one fabricated. These small items can be just as rewarding as the larger components. I cannot begin to think how difficult this process would have been without MLU and it's members. Plate
Lance, I was pleasantly surprised when I first approached my local printer/engraver. With a scanner and computer controlled engraving it turned out quite well and was very inexpensive.

Australian Influence
Guys,
MLU membership has made my restoration much easier, I just didn't recognize how far and wide the MLU extends in this internet age. Rick Cove has assisted me tremendously with information and advice. In addition Gina Vampire had generously provided me with some paint samples of the interior. After many months of procrastinating, I stripped out the crew compartment and painted it. Makes a dramatic difference. Summer activities are now having a significant impact on my garage time, but it's a great motivator to look into the crew compartment and recognize how far it has actually come.
