Parts all came back from sandblasting earlier this week. Today was the first chance I have had to get them prepped and then painted with POR15. Hopefully will be spraying KG#3 on Monday and then parts can start going back on mid week. The chassis frame is a royal pain to move around without any wheels.

What are you using on top of the POR the Tie coat or the self-hetch primer???? Cheers

Thanks Bob
Im using the tie coat primer they sell. Today was a bit rushed and i thought I would try it while the POR was still tacky. Worked for the most part with just a bit of cracking effect. However it wont affect the final finish.

I got the frame all painted and the brakes installed. However when I went to put the hubs back on I couldn't. The pads are too thick. I did a tiny bit of hand sanding and was able to get the drums on. This at least allowed me to out wheels on and roll/drag it back into the shop. Once I get a chance I'll be removing the drums and sanding down the brake shoes.

Finished more parts painting today. Painted the wheel rims and large body panels. I also managed to get the brake drums installed after dealing with some oversize brake shoes. I managed to sand them down with a palm sander. Up next will be installing the shock absorbers and small frame parts.

Sorry Luigi.
I don't have any info on the tool box or document holder. Other then the pictures in the later manual. Hopefully someone else out there has the info and can share it. I'm currently trying to figure out the wiring diagram for the trailer. It appears to use three of the wires coming off the trailer plug. The red one is the ground. One is used for the brake light and another is used to power both the tail lights and convoy light. The brake light wire (black) seems to go directly to the brake light and also splits off to the trailer socket. The other lights are powered by a single wire (green) going to the toggle switch. It is an on/off/on switch. Power in goes to the common middle terminal. Power out to the convoy light (green) comes from the left switch terminal (as seen in diagram) and appears to only go to the convoy light. Power out to the tail lights (green) comes from the right switch terminal (as seen in diagram) and goes to both tail lights. There is also another wire (green) that goes direct to the trailer socket. Lastly it appears there is a ground wire (red) from the trailer socket to frame. Am I correct in reading that power for the convoy light goes no further then the trailer and doesn't go to the trailer socket? To me this doesn't make sense. What makes more sense is that the single wire (green) from the right side of switch to trailer socket should actually be coming from the common switch terminal and going to the trailer socket. This would would provide the power to the socket for the next trailer's convoy and tail lights. Any thoughts on this are welcome.
