Default Marking Instruction

The marking instruction I referred to (2 posts up) is dated August 1941.

Signal Instruction No 57 from 1 Canadian Divisional Signals (27 Mar 1944) does indicate that H* tactical signs were allocated to H Section of 2 Company.

The H6 is just a unit block #.

Here is a list of them for the RHLI per April 1941 war diary.
