The springs are a bargain for the M38s or WW2 Jeeps. They may also fit the M416 trailer, but definitely not the M101CDN2.
The leg was for rear support on the 3/4 trailers when a generator was mounted in the back and you had to go into it a lot. Stopped it from tipping backwards. If only they had a switch wired to a air raid siren so the drivers did not drive off with the leg down. The legs had a short life expectancy. Some of the M104s had a similar leg fitted too. .
