I was able to present the Life Member certificate to Alan Newton after the KVE meeting. Alan was co-founder of the event 37 years ago.

Here is Alan Newton after I presented him with the Life Membership certificate, and Jan who received hers earlier. The third certificate was sent up to Queensland to be presented to Ian Grieve.

Alan and Ian were the original instigators of the event 37 years ago, when it was just planned to be a get together of Ford GPA amphibs. Jan received the award for her tireless work and enthusiasm since around 1996 when the event started to grow.
