Ferntree Gully - yes that was where Norm had the NOS LAYRUB joints in his shop , too pricey for me . Seems they are still used widely today .

Gotta love this site. In one or two posts, the impossible becomes the ordinary.

Default head pad

The head pad for a 13 cab, drivers side.
The only one I've ever seen still on a truck.
No idea as to the thickness.

An original radiator over-flow tank off a Chev would be handy also.

The pad for the hatch of a Cab 12, the cylindrical interior light, and the wide type rifle clip as been eluding me for some time now.

Universal Carrier tire air has eluded me since I've been in the hobby, especially the kind that came in a special can that would hear it up prior to use and blow it into the tires.

Back on topic, for me I'd say the chirehorse tray that was used on the FFW 15cwt trucks. Well actually any of the brackets and boxes. Seems to be a common issue with the wireless trucks.

Default Still searching

Guys,

While I have been positively surprised at some of the obscure parts that I have been able to find, the shield for the fuel tank caps is still eluding me. Currently planning on having them fabricated, but would dearly like to find originals. The part number is C-19SR - 9112 - "shield - cap - fuel tank filler neck".

Peter
