DON'T DO THAT!!!
Last year my carrier, with a similar set-up, had the generator shaft break with the fan destroying the radiator! The generator shaft is not strong enough to hold both the fan and the force of the V belts. I have photos of the incident but do not no how to reduce size so I can post them... Cheers,

Marc, from what I have been told, even the proper set up fails. The fan centre is a known weakness. However I have heard of more "jackup" failures.
My advice (unqualified) Petr, is look for the right bits. You have a lot of original bits, with potential for a very original carrier.

Marc, I heard about this incident at Market Garden, but didt saw it on my own eyes. Pics would be certainly useful for me, will send you my email in PM. Thank you!
So guys, thanks both for an advices, surely will try to source all proper bits and set-up the engine as it should be. But it takes time. Untill I get them, safe and working (but very ugly, I know) solution would be possibly electrical fan.

I used an electric fan on my carrier until I could get hold of the correct setup, it wasn't pretty but it got the job done

I am at a similar crossroads... I have all the correct bits at present but want to run high volume water pumps...... All of which are single pulley, I can't fit my twin pulleys to the new pumps so was going to run one V belt rather than two.... Not sure I will now.

Richard, why do you want to run high vol. pumps?

Pumps that are on are absolute dog muck.
If I am going to spend the wedge I would rather pay for something that works well.
