			Wonder how many lost Buffalos, DUKW's and Carriers turned up years after the war when all that flooded land was finally reclaimed? I recall at least one carrier being found a few years back with three or four occupants pinned under it still. It had slipped off a muddy bank and rolled over and for the families, the men had been missing all these years. David |

			Great links to some neat pictures. While quickly checking out some of the albums I came across this one. Check out the door on the CMP. I appears to have the anti-freeze do not drain warning stencilled onto it.

			Hey Guys , in the Buffalo's , at least in a few of them , there are soldiers and officers  of  the famous  Regiment,  Le Régiment de la Chaudière ! I live near today's militia unit HQ and was a member once.. Wow great pictures. Thanks.

			Hi John: Many thanks for the link. The segment on the 1940 US Army Maneuvers in Louisiana was a great help for additional photos of immediate pre-war US vehicles. I know of them and have some photos but most of these were new. Bill
