I think the price of that trailer just inflated.... Hahaha
Yeah all jokes aside the accessories Derk included were an amazing surprise. I can't even express my excitement other than saying I was already playing in it at 7 this morning and I didn't even waste time putting shoes on |

Yeah it's a pig, but you shouldn't buy these types of things wanting fuel economy...mind you it's probably no worse than an eco boost lol

That's the first time that I've ever seen the Unstucker kit mounted on a 5/4.
Our CP and every other 5/4 I ran across had no Unstucker issued. It remained on a Deviation Record. The only part of the kit issued was the wheel flanges.

I think someone in our unit used one on one of our Rad vans but only on 1 side, I remember seeing it at auction with the hub and spindle twisted clean off, looked like some giant kid had picked it up and just kept twisting until it broke off

As a mechanic, and since very few of the unstucker spools were around, we would often remove the adapters when doing hub work and not re-install them. They might go into the back of the truck, or might go into the scrap bin.
Problem with the unstucker adapters is they required the use of 3 different sockets (if I recall correctly) on our impact instead of the usual one to pull a wheel. |

I must say I had a lump in my throat when I saw Davin drive away with the truck and trailer but when he sent me pictures of it in the lineup back at his place with all of his other military vehicles I knew it went to a good home!
That truck has been nothing but good to me in the last 18 years I have owned it and I have to admit I did nothing to it but put gas in it and register it year after year using it once or twice to take the carrier to a show and that's it. Now I am at that point where my time is very limited and way too many projects in the yard than I will ever get to so the decision was made to let a few go and make some room in the driveway. The fact that I also have to abandon my septic field and put in a holding tank (Quote of between $7,500.00-$10,000.00) to install one left me with a decision on what to sell to raise the funds! I enjoyed finding all of the accessories for the 5/4 ton and always drew attention at the car shows because it had alot to look at. even down to the first aid kit!

The dewat FN's always stood out displayed in the truck and I am glad when I found the truck that it hadn't been modified to replace the bucket seats for the bench seat where they cut out the gun clip bracket losing not only the ability to mount the guns but the 524 radio set as well! Buying the dewats cost way more than the truck ever did (even with 2 full tanks of gas!) but I already had them in my collection so wasn't a problem justifying buying just to display in the truck.
The FN's are both Ishapore dewat rifles with all of the Canadian C1 & C2 equipment mounted on them. This is when that stuff was still around to do that! There were also tools mounted behind the bucket seats but were never seen as the bucket seats block the view.Didn't stop me from putting them there though.
