The wheel pictured with the tape measure across it is a 4th type CCKW wheel which was used on late production vehicles.
As far as I know the only difference between this steering wheel and that used on the DUKW is the DUKW wheel has a pair of round headed nails driven into the rim not far apart to give the driver some indication of the straight ahead position when afloat.

Default We checked....

...1943 cab 13 wooden and a cab 11 rubber both at 18 Inches.....
