You're not mucking about, Howard!

Great to see this progress, going this quickly you will remember where all that Cab 12 tinwork goes when the time comes to put it back together.

Hanno

PS: here's a "then" picture of a Ford F60S with the same 3C1 body to keep you motivated

Hello Hanno, I know what you mean there are alot of cab parts alone never mind every thing else. The cab has come apart four ways. I have taken lots of piuctures so it should be to bad. I should have an industrial steam cleaner coming Monday or tuesday next week or get rid of the dirt. It will then go under the blaster. Well we had a good day yesturday, I bought some angle iron and made up an engine cradle, we then lifted the engine from the chassis and fitted it to the cradle. Rest of the day was spent unbolting other parts, rear and front shocks, all side step brackets, front propshaft. Well thats the state of play to date. Howard

Well more work has been achieved on the C60s. The chassis has now been Top coated in drab. The axles have also been blasted primed and painted. they have also been fitted back to the chassis and is now sitting on axle stands. I have removed the front hubs, and also the back plates. Now have the rear drums to remove and the back plates. Also need to get the brake shoes relined. and the cylinders sorted.Howard
