Default Dimensions

here are the measurements as best i could get them. The bends have a radius to them and so i tried to measure to where the radius started or stopped as per the pdf file.also the front and rear wheel sections fit together full width as a kind of mirror image,so i snapped some extra pics to give you the idea of whats going on there.

Hope this helps

Cheers
Corey

Default Thanks for the measuring the rims

Hi Corey

Thanks for your efforts in measuring the rim, the measurements help Joao from Brazil who the measurement question was originally posed.

The information though are also a good addition to the general CMP knowledge base.

I've saved off a copy of your measurements to my CMP information photo file.

Cheers Phil

its too bad they did what they did with the dish in the centre..if they had kept it flat a person could put together two rear halves and have a wheel fit for a decently wide tire.

Default Try a 16 inch rim.....

They are flat....... but you need to remove the studs on one half and INSURE the rims are perfectly aligned when you redrill new holes.

Cheers

Hi Joao...the studs that hold the wheel halves together are 7/8" BSF (british standard fine thread)..they used bsf thread because it has better torque retention under high vibration conditions without the use of a lock washer.the nuts have a 45° chamfer like a regular wheel stud. wheel thickness i cant remember off the top of my head..im at the airport seeing my girl and son off on their way back to alberta..ill check the thickness for you whrn i get back to the shop.
