Hi Keith

Thanks for replying. It's amazing there are no pictures showing their use. I wondered if they were for wood blocks or wedges? Not a comfortable ride for the gunner seated next to them,
James

Hi James,
I just had a thought, so went out and checked mine. I wondered if they where used to secure the jacking base plates for the Bofors gun. Then I found a picture of a LAAT towing a Bofors gun, and the jacking base plates appear to stay on the jacks on the gun. Back to the drawing board !

I wondered that as well but wasn't sure if there was enough room. Obviously not!

Starting to really bug me now !
