Yes thanks Max, I've found I even have some of the lamp holders NOS - the old wires can be used (joined to new ones)... will post some more pics soon in case there are some who have yet to face the task and also wish to rebuild as per original 6 volt.
Actually I may be in need of one of the screws to hold the lamp door on. Will know once I've finished looking through the bits.
