Rob, chin up and get out your welder and start tin bashing like the rest of us!!!
On my M37, the fenders were NFG as are all M37 fenders. I tried going the route of "patch panels" which were terrible fascimiles of the original part. I bout them from Jeep Panels Plus which I think is out of business now as the original owner passed away. I ended up doing a cut and paste which actually took a lot of work but resulted in very well repaired fenders. Another place to look is Stateside; This summer, I passed up a complete M37 cargo box and a pair of fenders that I found on another forum. The guy wanted $500 for the cargo box and $250 for the pair of fenders and they were perfect. I had no M37, so it was a case of do I or don't I? I believe that I am going to start buying up good stuff no matter what as there are always guys here on MLU and here in Ontario looking for quality merchandise...
